Marist Laity gathering in England. (27th - 29th April 2007) The theme of the event is Building a 'New Church'. The Role of Marists. Guest Speaker; Fr. Jan Hulshof sm, superior general of the Marist Fathers.

First Western Regional Marist Laity gathering, Santa Cruz, San Francisco, California. (May 25th - 28th 2007) Guest speaker; Fr. John Craddock sm New Zealand.

European Marist Laity gathering, Turin, Italy. (August 23rd - 27th 2007) The theme is Happy to be Marist. Guest speaker; Fr. Jan Hulshof sm, superior general of the Marist Fathers.

Irish Provincial Chapter, (August 22nd - 25th 2007). This is an additional chapter as part of the process towards a one province Europe. All seven Marist provinces in Europe (Ireland, Great Britain, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and Italy) are holding chapters during the summer with the same purpose in mind. It is hoped that all seven provinces will amalgamate to form one European province.

Council of the Society (CS 2005) The Council of the Society marked four years since the current administration had beem in office. It is generally held mid-term between General Chapters and is a time to review and evaluate progress on decisions made at the previous general chapter. Mexico is the venue for CS 2005.

Irish Provincial Chapter. The Irish Province of the Marist Fathers held their provincial chapter during Easter week from March 29th to April 2nd 2005. A Provincial Chapter is a time to review life and ministries and to plan for the future. The theme for this Chapter was 'Facing Reality and Making Choices'.

Lenten Day of Recollection - 26th February 2005, led by Ray Murray sm and Sile O'Reilly,(Lay Marist) in Marist Fathers, Mount St. Mary's Milltown, Dublin 14.

Visitation of the Irish Province March 2005. Fr. Rafaele Qalovi sm, and Fr, Paul Frechette sm, Assistants General with responsibility for the Province of Ireland, were on official visitation to the Irish province from March 1st - 10th 2005. They visited all the communities in Ireland, met with a number of Lay Marists and participated at the opening day of the Provincial Chapter in the Marino Institute on the 9th March.

Day of reflection on 'The Women of the Passion' - 19th March 2005. This day of reflection took place in Marist Fathers, Mount St. Mary's Milltown, Dublin 14. It was led by Sr. Kathleen Murphy author of 'The Women of the Passion'. Participants had the opportunity to purchase the book and their will be a follow-up day to reflect on the material received.
