Facing Reality and Making Choices

held in Dromantine - a great place to reside, work, relax, pray and unwind, great grounds to walk in.

attended by all who could - those who are elderly or infirm were free not to come.

facilitated by Bobby Moore - who guided and directed the chapter very well in keeping to its task

Agenda: Marist Mission Europe (a model for greater co-operation between the seven Marist provinices in Europe), The Provincial's report (John Hannan's presentation of the reality and the challenges facing us), Provincial accounts and projections,(and the necessary changes in the years ahead), Mission Now - {Mike Drennan sj, CORI}, Council of the Society documents -{Restructuring of the Society, Renewal of the Society},and changes to be made in our legislation.

 

Each day began with a period of prayer together, in the style of faithsharing on the scripture reading for the Eucharist. We celebrated Eurcharist each day at the close of the days work.

 

 

 

The evenings were free, except for the steering committee!!
