CHRISTMAS REFLECTION
Year by year I hear recalled the story of this Birth and somewhere on the way I've ceased to wonder; I've taken to myself the Jesus myth, and it fits within the confines of my vision.
In my way I've been colluding in that subtle nervous movement that has tended to imprison in the tidy definition, in the neat well-ordered system, the reality fo Jesus the enigma who eluded all the concepts of the time.

And theGospels have been filtereed through Western ways of thinking and Christ has been diminished.
There was a Birth in Bethlehem, God in human fragile form; feelng in a human way the pain of incompleteness the longing for connectedness and the anguish of the Earth.
Divinity took earthiness to heart as it had since time had dawned:

Each creature is a radiance of God
All the eath is sacred ground.
And Christ still waits to come to birth.
